Setting up the Ubisoft Connect offline mode for Assassin's Creed Valhalla

09.11.2020
This Ubisoft Connect offline-mode setup guide for Assassin's Creed Valhalla will help keep your account working. Even if the password on the account you purchased is changed, you can still play offline.

  1. Download Ubisoft Connect (if not installed) https://ubisoftconnect.com/

  2. Disable Windows updates. If you have Windows 10, disable updates using this >instructions<

  3. Download the game [torrent] https://bit.ly/2UcEYRb or from any other source known to you.

  4. Open the root of the Ubisoft Game Launcher folder and copy the files DG_UplayActivator.exe, ACV_Offline.exe, Uplay Online.exe and Uplay Backup ACV.bat (The link to the files will be issued after purchasing the product).

  5. Launch DG_UplayActivator.exe and enter the received activation code.

  6. Press "Enter username and password" and wait for the activator to enter account details in the Ubisoft Connect client.

If the account data is entered incorrectly

Most likely the problem is related to the scale of the desktop. Example of the problem in the screenshot below.

To resolve the issue, go to Windows Settings. On the "Display" tab, change the "Scale and Layout" to 100% and re-activate. After successful activation, you can return everything to its previous state.

  7. Click on the logo with the game. Under the button "Download" press "Find installed game" and indicate the previously downloaded folder with the game.

  8. After loading the game files, launch Assassin's Creed Valhalla and immediately exit it after loading the game menu(In case of problems with launch, check the game files).
If the game requires you to install updates, install. The game will not start without the latest updates.

If there is a problem with updating the game

If you downloaded the game through third-party resources, for example from a torrent tracker, then you need to remove the game from the torrent distribution or remove it from the list of downloads.

If there is a problem with running the game

Games with Denuvo protection have daily restrictions on running the game in online mode. If you encounter a problem like in the screenshot below, then wait 30 minutes and restart the games. If it fails, wait another 30 minutes, try again, and so on. If the problem persists for a long time(12 hours), write to the seller in the correspondence of the purchased product for help.

How do I change the language of the game?

Click on the game logo, click "Properties" under the logo and select the desired language from the list of available ones.

  9. Go to settings Uplay/Network and put a checkmark in front of the items "Don't send error messages" as in the screenshot.

  10. Press "Go offline" as shown in the screenshot.

  11. Launch Uplay Backup ACV.bat (The file will automatically make a copy of the offline client settings).
This step is required! If on further runs ACV_Offline.exe account authorization fails, so you did not complete this item or completed it in the wrong sequence.

  12. All subsequent launches of the game strictly through the file ACV_Offline.exe (For convenience, you can make a shortcut on the desktop).
If you have your own Ubisoft Connect account, then you can log into it through the file Uplay_online.exe
